In the last decade, I’ve competed in several local amateur bodybuilding competitions just as a hobby. In order to grow for a show, I, like most other competitive bodybuilders, eat like maniacs for several months leading up to the competition. The biggest problem with eating so much is that it’s really hard to eat clean the entire time so I end up gaining plenty of fat along with the muscle.

So in order to burn off this extra fat and look ready for a show, I got on the ketogenic diet just like most other bodybuilders. This diet has been around forever and works great but the biggest problem is that it can take a long time to ketoadapt, my workouts aren’t as good because i’m constantly tired, and worst of all, I still crave carbs!

A buddy of mine at the gym brought in a bottle of ketoshred about 2 months before the show so I asked him what it was. He sold me on it so I decided to buy a bottle for myself to try it out.

Holy cow! For the most part, I stopped craving carbs and had more intense workouts due to the lack of fatigue i used to have while eating low carb. I’ve gained and lost fat every bodybuilding season and I can confidently say that ketoshred definitely got me to my goal weight quicker than it usually took.

Wish I knew about it earlier so I didn’t have to suffer and dream of strawberry pop tarts on a daily basis. Oh well. Better late than never.*
